Wendy Jo has over 38 years experience in the healthcare industry, serving in various roles within the acute hospital setting, home healthcare operations, and education. In these roles, Wendy Jo gained expertise in leadership, multi-site management, start-up operations, strategic and financial planning, and establishing clinical standards and competencies. Wendy Jo now serves as Director of Clinical Support Solutions, managing a team of educators who consult and assist customers with applying, developing, implementing, and facilitating high fidelity patient simulation into their academic and hospital-based programs.

Diane Mathe, MSN, RN, CHSE
Diane has over 30 years experience in the healthcare industry beginning with service as a United States Navy Nurse in the Medical-Surgical and Intensive Care settings. Diane then entered the world of academia as a nursing instructor in practical, associate and baccalaureate nursing programs. She was a customer of CAE Healthcare (formerly METI) and used high-fidelity simulation in her teaching role. Diane now serves as Group Leader for Nursing and Allied Health, managing a team of full time and adjunct educators.

Richard Low, BS, NAEMT
Prior to joining the CAE Healthcare team, Richard began his career in in Colorado where he was involved in Wilderness Medicine education and rescue. Richard is a nationally certified paramedic and Certified Fire Fighter, Fire Officer, Hazmat Technician, and Fire and EMS Instructor. He is currently the Group Leader for LearningSpace and Medicine.

Stefan Monk, MD
Dr. Stefan Mönk is an educator, anesthesiologist and specialist in Emergency Medicine. He has worked at Mainz University, the German Air Rescue Service and has been Chief Emergency Physician of the City of Mainz, Germany. Stefan has authored, co-authored, and contributed to several international books and articles on medical simulation. He has co-founded and managed two simulation centers and coordinated the nationwide introduction of simulation into German undergraduate medical education.

Amanda Wilford, MSN, RN
Amanda (Mandy) Wilford has been part of CAE Healthcare since 2012 and is Group Leader Adjunct Faculty International. Mandy began her nursing career by training at The Nightingale School of Nursing, London and after qualifying, worked as a specialist cardiac critical care nurse. Mandy ‘s first forays into patient simulation began in 2001 where she worked in conjunction with The Bristol Medical Simulation Centre (BMSC). Mandy works with educators in practice and academia all over the world to implement the pedagogy of simulation as an educational solution. She has published a chapter in a simulation education textbook entitled "Simulation Education of Nurses in Europe: Evolution and Revolution".
Petra serves as the International Academy Training and Projects Coordinator and Office Manger in Mainz, Germany. Prior to joining the Academy, Petra worked for CAE International Customer Service and before that, an international bank.
Scott Temple, BS, EMT-P
Scott Temple is a Clinical Educator and a practicing Paramedic in the State of Florida. With over 12 years of field experience in a busy 9-1-1 system, Scott has appreciated first hand the benefits of simulation. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine.

Ron brings over 25 years of experience to CAE, both in the clinical setting as well as in healthcare education. Ron began his nursing career as a Public Health Nurse at a county health department. He then spent the next 16 years at a large university in Michigan and held numerous positions including Nursing Education Lab Coordinator, Simulation Coordinator and most recently, the Associate Director of Simulation. He has extensive experience using CAE Healthcare products to promote safe learning through simulation and focused his most recent work on promoting interprofessional education. Ron has been published in several professional journals.

John Hardcastle, MD
Dr. John Hardcastle began his work in medical simulation in 1994 in the Anesthesia Department at the University of Florida. He was a member of the team that created the Human Patient Simulator (HPS). John has many years of experience in developing simulator-based applications for a broad range of healthcare disciplines. In addition to his role as Clinical Educator, Dr. Hardcastle is involved with new product development and software enhancements to the underlying physiologic and pharmacologic models utilized by CAE patient simulators.
Timothy Whitaker, EMT-P, CHSE, CHSOS
Tim’s 34-year career in healthcare has spanned from military, pre-hospital, flight medicine, and transplant to simulation education. He has been an educator for over 20 years, including 12 years in simulation education. Tim has designed and managed simulation centers and programs and has been published and lectured both locally and nationally.

Prior to working for CAE, Mark worked as an AV specialist and a Clinical Simulation Specialist at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. He supported clinicians and educators in performing simulations, developing training scenarios, and creating multimedia presentations that helped improve the quality of the patient care provided by healthcare workers and students. Mark has had training in in adult learning theory, crisis resource management, and TeamSTEPPS. He is also a graduate of the Instructor of Medical Simulation course taught at the Center for Medical Simulation in Boston, MA. He has a Masters in Health Informatics, in which he studied clinical documentation, systems implementation, and project management.
Katie designs and produces various eLearning programs and works in conjunction with other staff to produce CAE Healthcare’s extensive library of online video tutorials. Katie is also vital in the production and design of the documentation for the Academy’s Learning Modules and maintains quality control pertaining to layout and design elements related to customer documentation. She studied at Ringling College of Art and Design and is currently completing her Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design.

Dana Gilbreath, BA
Dana Gilbreath is the Training and Projects Coordinator for CAE Healthcare’s education team, The Academy. Her duties include the management of the Academy’s many simulator assets, conducting nationwide scheduling of onsite and in-house training courses, preparing and coordinating regional and national conferences, including HPSN. Dana holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.
Juan Sevilla, MD
Juan Sevilla is a medical graduate from Lima, Peru with a specialty in General Surgery. He also has many years of experience in clinical and pharmaceutical research. Juan has been with CAE Healthcare for three years and is a Clinical Educator for the surgical and ultrasound simulators. Juan is fluent in English, French and Spanish.

Mitchell Brown, PhD, MA
Mitchell Brown, PhD, MA, has been designing and delivering courses for almost 30 years. He has been an educator for private clients, universities, and business, in 4 countries on 3 continents and in 2 languages. He joined CAE Healthcare in 2011 as an Instructional Systems Designer. Since then, he has designed training and how-to videos for a number of simulator platforms. He also provides LearningSpace training in French to our customers in Quebec.
Prior to joining CAE’s Healthcare division, Chantal was a member of CAE Inc. Civil Simulation Products Customer Support team providing hardware and technical support to our global customer base for over ten years. Chantal has also worked for Rolls-Royce Canada and provided Occupational Health and Safety training for many of the industry’s main players such as Bombardier Aerospace, Pratt & Whitney, SPAR Aerospace and Rolls-Royce. She is currently the Account Executive for Imaging Solutions at CAE.
