Course Description
The Foundation of Vent Management course utilizes an evidence-based approach to teach the basics of ventilator management for four individual groups of patients (neonate, pediatric, adult, and the elderly). Developed by a leading group of experts, this course ensures participants acquire foundational knowledge in ventilator management followed by a series of hands-on sessions using both skills trainers and human patient simulators. The students will be a participant in a series of simulation experiences to help reinforce the knowledge they obtain. The program emphasizes small group learning sessions to ensure that an intimate learning environment allows for adequate practice time with a wide variety of techniques and cases.
Program Schedule
The class will begin each day at 8:30 am with registration and breakfast starting at 7:00 am. The class will end by 4:30 pm each day. Please book your travel accordingly.

Course Textbook(s) and other supplies utilized for the program.
The student will not be expected to pay for anything additional except their travel and lodging.
Target Audience
This conference is targeted at any level of healthcare providers that manage simple or complex airways. A strong interdisciplinary focus is an important component of managing these patients. Therefore physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, advanced practice providers, critical care paramedics, and other allied health professionals are strongly encouraged to attend.
Cancellation Policy
A full refund is provided to those that cancel their registration within 7 days of the course start date. A full refund will only be processed if the participant returns the course textbook to the course sponsor. If the participant wishes to keep the textbook, they will be charged $90.00. The course textbook fee will be deducted from the total refund amount. The refund will be processed via the original method of payment. If the participant paid by check, a check will be sent to the mailing address listed on the registration form.
A partial refund will be provided to those that cancel their registration between 4-7 days of the course start date. A partial refund is 50% of the total cost of the course registration category the participant paid. The refund will be processed onto the original method of payment. If the participant paid by check, a check will be sent to the mailing address listed on the registration form.
NO refund will be provided to those that cancel their registration between 4 days of the course start date. A no-show is considered any individual that cancels 24 hours prior to the course start or fails to show up to class without notifying CAE Healthcare.
