The only simulator that truly breathes – for anesthesia, respiratory and critical care
With patented cardiovascular, respiratory and neurological and pharmacological modeling, the HPS is known as the gold standard patient simulator for healthcare. The only simulator with true oxygen and CO2 gas exchange, the HPS can also rise to the challenge of accurately representing complex surgical, critical care and drug interaction scenarios.

“There is no alternative for us. With the types of simulation we do at Sinai, we would not feel comfortable or be capable of creating them with any simulator other than an HPS. It immediately lends the
fidelity we need.”Adam I. Levine, MD

Unrivaled physiology and realism
The HPS has human-like physiology with exceptional lung mechanics, gas exchange, pharmacological response and the ability to interface with patient monitors. The optional anesthesia delivery system allows the lungs to uptake or excrete anesthetic gases, and the lungs respond automatically to mechanical ventilation.
HPS Curriculum - 50 new preprogrammed Simulated Clinical Experiences (SCEs)
The latest version of HPS operates with the easy-to-use Müse interface, which features 50 new Simulated Clinical Experiences (SCEs) for anesthesia, obstetrics, allied health and advanced cardiac life support. Open Müse and start an SCE with just two clicks. HPS also works with CAE Healthcare’s evidence-based SCEs for anesthesia, respiratory care and emergency medicine. The next generation HPS with Müse was developed with leading academic partners:
Dr. Christian Grass, Erasmus University Medical Center, Rotterdam, The Netherlands
Dr. Hal Doerr, The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, Department of Anesthesiology, Houston, Texas
Dr. Catherine Rodziewicz, Keck School of Medicine of University of Southern California
Dr. Roseann Cannon-Diehl, CRNA, MHS, School of Nurse Anesthesia, Texas Christian University
Easy Operation with Müse Interface
Operating the HPS is simple with the standard Müse interface. The dashboard features a patient image, conditions and medications, streaming data from clinical monitors, a menu of Simulated Clinical Experiences (SCEs) and a timeline. The patient’s physiology and SCE can be preset so an instructor can focus on teaching.
The only child-sized simulator that truly breathes
The PediaSIM HPS is a child-sized simulator with the cardiovascular and respiratory features of the HPS, including true gas exchange, the ability to be connected to hospital monitors and realistic airway features and landmarks. PediaSIM HPS also operates with the easy-to-use Müse interface, which features new Simulated Clinical Experiences (SCEs) for anesthesia, allied health, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and PALS Europe.
New modern rack
HPS has a new, modern rack that will blend seamlessly into your simulation center while allowing you easy access to interfaces. Enhanced durability and new features, such as clearer audio for heart and lung sounds and convulsions, will expand your learning sessions.
